Expert Spot Wire Welding Services and Wire Assemblies

At Mid-West Wire Specialties, we use two different spot wire welding methods to connect the pieces of our wire assemblies.  The main wire welding technique is spot welding, which is used on most of our wire assembly products.  The other kind of welding is called MIG welding, which stands for “metal inert gas.”  Both kinds of welding have different applications and uses.

How Does Wire Welding Work?

  • Spot Welding is an electrical process that fuses two metal wire assembiles together without any kind of filler.  Spot welding is the most common form of assembling steel and steel wire.
  • MIG Welding is also an electrical process, but it uses filler metal to join larger, heavy duty parts together.  MIG welding would be used for items like sheet metal or safety hooks.
