Wire Gauge Sizes

In the wire industry, gauge size is probably a familiar term to many of our customers.  A wire’s gauge size is determined by the size of its diameter, and it is usually measured in fractions of an inch.   

Our Wire Gauges

At Mid-West Wire Specialties, we provide a range of wire gauge sizes.  You can custom order your products to be made with anywhere from 1/16 inch wire to 3/8 inch wire.  In gauge sizes, this translates to .062-.375.  Our 1/16 inch wire is the smallest wire that we use, and it is most commonly applied to our mesh products or fan guards.  Our 3/8 inch wire is our largest, and we normally use this wire for our heavy-duty shelf framing and some display items.
